Unfortunately, due to program policy and University policy regarding minors, no exceptions can be made at this time whether you are attending the program virtually or in person. For Summer 2024, students must be 16 years of age by June 16, 2024 or the first day of course instruction, whichever comes first, and have completed two years of high school before starting the program. For now, we recommend looking at the Academic Talent Development Program or Berkeley Business Academy for Youth. Kindly note that these programs fall outside of the purview of Berkeley's Summer Sessions.
We strongly encourage your student to submit an application for the Pre-College Scholars program in the following year(s), provided that they still meet our admissions criteria.
