Violations: Violations of the Berkeley Campus Code of Student Conduct, or the terms of the Pre-College Scholars Commuter Program Student Agreement lead to disciplinary action. Disciplinary action will include but is not limited to notice’s of warning, probation, and or dismissal from the program.
- Notices of disciplinary action will be communicated through the official student email address.
- The student will be granted the opportunity to be heard and to present statements or witnesses to the Pre-College team.
- In the event that the student violation giving cause for dismissal is conduct regarding student’s and/or community safety, the student will be immediately removed from the program.
Standard of Review: The Pre-College Scholars Program team uses incident reports, meetings, hearings & collaboration to review student violations, and make a disciplinary decision in alignment with the program and the university codes and standards of conduct.
