After receiving your Admissions Offer, and creating your CalNetID, visit CalCentral.
Under "Tasks", complete the Student Financial Agreement. Once the Student Financial Agreement is completed, complete the Pre-College Enrollment Request Form.
This will bring you to the Course Enrollment Form Page. You will need your Application Number (which can be found on your MyApp Decision Portal) and the email that you submitted your application with, with all email characters lowercase.
Using the Summer 2024 Class Schedule, enter your course selections. Before selecting your courses, keep in mind these important considerations:
Check course prerequisites to be sure that you have met the requirements listed. These can be found in the catalog description of the course in the Berkeley Academic Guide
You are required to select four courses in your course enrollment request form. We will try to enroll you in your first choices depending on schedule and availability.
Please pay attention to the Session that you selected in your application.

- If you selected Session C, you may enroll in two Session C courses or one course from Session C and one course from session D.
- If you selected Session D, you may only enroll in two Session D courses.
- If you wish to change your Session, please email precollege@berkeley.edu. Note: session changes are available only once and will impact the dates and cost of your program.

You are required to be enrolled in 2 courses. If you are an international student, you need to enroll in full-time units in order to be eligible to receive the F-1 student visa. Full-time enrollment means:

- A total of 6 units for Session C only
- A total of 5 units for Session D only

Meeting times for selected courses should not overlap with each other, including secondary sections. Some courses have required secondary sections for discussions or lab work. It will be noted on the Class Schedule, under “Associated Sections.” If meeting times overlap, you will be enrolled in a set of classes with no time conflict.
Confirmed enrollment will depend on seat availability in your selected classes. Processing your request may take up to 2 days and is further delayed if the request is submitted over a weekend or a holiday; this means even if there were open seats in the classes at the time you submitted this form, they may not be available by the time your request is processed.

Continue to follow the prompts on the screen, until all your courses are entered, and hit "Submit". We suggest selecting at least two classes, and two additional classes as backups (a total of four), as enrollment availability may vary.
