Summer Sessions' students, including Pre-College Scholars, are considered visiting students for the summer term only. You can expect to have access to services normally only available to UC Berkeley students for the duration of your summer session. Additionally, grades appear on a UC Berkeley official transcript. Only matriculated UC Berkeley students (or exchange students) can attend courses during the fall and spring semesters and receive a diploma from UC Berkeley.
