University Health Services offers career, personal, and academic counseling to students through Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). CAPS provides individual interviews, couples counseling, testing services, occupational information, and group counseling. The CAPS counselors are a multicultural group of social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists. Students can come in to talk about deciding on a major, learning about interests and abilities, clarifying career goals and exploring options, coping with a personal crisis, dealing with concerns about relations with family or others, overcoming learning disabilities and concentration problems, or any other concerns. Initial consultations are free; there will be a slight fee for some services. For more information visit the CAPS website https://uhs.berkeley.edu/caps
