Usually, the course syllabus is sent to students during the first day of the class. A brief course description is available prior to the beginning of the class through the Class Schedule. Sometimes you may be able to find an old version of the syllabus by looking it up on Google. If you require the syllabus of the course you intend to attend in advance (for any reason), you may contact an academic advisor in the department offering the course to see if they have a current syllabus to share. There are no guarantees that they may have something available but there is no harm in trying! Find the advising section on the department's webpage (use Google for a quicker and easier search since each department on campus has its own unique webpage). You can also use the Campus Directory if you have the advisor's or instructor's first and last names.
