The residential space is, above all, a community of people who live and work together under an agreed-to set of principles and rules established for the common good. Student leadership is necessary and present in almost every single aspect of the Pre-College Scholar program residence halls.
Program participants are expected to treat their fellow students with respect and integrity. Being an active member of the Hall is no excuse to create a toxic atmosphere. Residents must respect
those with whom they live and understand the participatory nature of the Hall. The observance
of such principles is not optional and will be expected of every program participant.
- Do their share of the effort necessary for the success of the Pre-College Scholar program residence halls as living environments.
- Be responsible for their actions and those of their guests, and the foreseeable consequences of these actions.
- Show the same respect for others and for their property that they would expect others to show to them.
- Do nothing that brings disrepute to the Pre-College Scholar program residence halls or their community.
